Welcome from Principal Kimberly J. Carter

Dear Hillsboro Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2023-24 School Year!

My name is Mrs. Kimberly J. Carter, and I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our H.E.S. families. This is my 17th year in education, and my 5th as principal. It is a privilege and honor to serve as the Instructional Leader at Hillsboro Elementary.
During the short time that I have been here, I have found H.E.S to be a phenomenal school providing a nurturing and caring learning environment for ALL children. Our dedicated team of highly qualified teachers and support staff strive to ensure academic success by setting high standards and promoting a Growth Mindset. We will continue providing integrated technology, research-based best practice instruction, and highly effective professional development for teachers. All of which will create an optimum learning experience here at H.E.S.

I encourage you to stay connected with us by visiting our website and Facebook page weekly for updates on upcoming events and information.

Thank you so much for your ongoing partnership and support!

Mrs. Kimberly J. Carter
